Take the product water and fill a 5 gallon (18.93 l) bucket to ½ full at least, it is very important that you use your product water, not tap or dock water. Add 5 tablespoons of pickling powder to the product water in the 5 gallon (18.93 l) bucket and stir. Get the intake hose, remove the sea strainer, place the intake hose into the bucket, keep the valve fully open and turn the system on. When your pickling solution is almost gone shut down the system before it has a chance to suck up any air into the system. It is now ready to be stored. **If you run out of pickle powder chemical, you can purchase it online at Amazon.com.
