Included in the system is the optional remote control panel which consolidates all the watermaker functions in one place. It includes both high and low-pressure gauges, a real-time water quality analyzer, 2 circuit Breakers one for the boost pump and one for the main pump, 1 flow meter that reads gallons per hour as well as liters per hour and of course our constant flow 316 stainless steel pressure regulator.
The remote control panel is not required, the system will function fine without it, think of it as your remote control for your television. It is nice to have in scenarios where the membrane is hard to access. A 6-foot high-pressure hose connects the membrane to the remote control panel. If you need more than 6 feet, let us know so we can custom make the hose to your desired length. We charge $10 per foot beyond the first 6 feet.
BUYER BEWARE of Chinese fiberglass pressure vessels, typically white in color, cannot handle hydraulic shocks caused by air sucked in during heavy seas. They are known to fracture and burst. The blue Epoxy resin vessel seen in the pictures is what we use. Tested to 6000 psi burst pressure. The 4 external rods act as springs and combined with our spring loaded automatic pressure regulator will absorb hydraulic shocks that can crack conventional fiberglass vessels that can lead to premature failure of the membrane.
