is 12 inches long with 316 stainless JIC hydraulic fittings on both ends. 

This hose connects the 2 membranes in series, this is used in double-membrane 40GPH fresh water maker systems only. If you are upgrading from a single membrane 20GPH watermaker system to a double 40GPH system then you need this hose.

JIC fittings are the most popular hydraulic fittings on the planet, they do NOT require O-rings and can be used over and over without any mechanical wear.
